Harriet Greenspan HARRIET GREENSPAN is a former New Yorker who has spent her entire career working primarily in Hollywood as one of the town's top casting directors.
For the past several years, Harriet has concentrated her casting efforts on projects for all of the kid and teen networks, including television movies, series and pilots, as well as feature films. Presently, Harriet is casting Nickelodeon’s new series, “Knight Squad. She also cast the currently airing T.V. soccer movie “Alex and Me,” for Nickelodeon and Warner Bros. Past credits include the Christmas movie for Free form and WB, “Cinderella, If the Shoe Fits,” the T.V. movie “Max 2,” also for Warner (Premiere) Bros and MGM, “Pure Country,” a country music movie and “Deep Blue Sea 2” for Syfy. She was also the on-set acting coach for Nickelodeon’s “House of Anubis”, which took her to England, where the series was shot.
Other credits in this genre include, “Every Witch Way,” “Wits Academy,” "True Jackson, V.P.," "Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide," "Bucket and Skinner's Epic Adventures,” and "Unfabulous," and all the "Scooby Doo" movies for the Cartoon Network.
Her reputation as a skilled acting coach is well earned. Harriet travels all over the country teaching acting workshops targeted to kids, teens and young adults. She also does private coaching as well as Skype coaching all over the world.
Harriet’s book, “AUDITIONOLOGY, 2nd edition” was just released as both an e-book and in paperback. You can buy it through Amazon and Barnes and Noble. It guides young actors and their parents through the casting process, taking them on a journey to book roles in television, movies and theater.
Harriet is an Artios Award winner for Outstanding Achievement in Children’s Casting.
